About

Obie Cambaliza is a research scientist in the Air Quality Dynamics Laboratory of the Manila Observatory. She is broadly interested in the following areas of research in atmospheric science: atmospheric composition, urban air quality, long range transport of pollution, greenhouse gas measurements and emission trends in urban environments.  She currently mentors graduate and undergraduate students of Atmospheric Science and Applied Physics who are working on science questions pertaining to regional and urban atmospheric composition.  Obie is currently a committee member of the International Global Atmospheric Chemistry Project – Monsoon Asia Oceania Networking Group (IGAC – MANGO).
