About

My work is focused on exploring the roots of poverty, articulating the meaning of a humane society for the marginalized, and the ground upon which to build just and sustainable societies. In order to do this, I engage in multidisciplinary work rooted in philosophy but engaging literature, art, economics, sociology, anthropology, development studies, environmental science, spirituality, cinema, and history. My philosophical work dialogues with existential phenomenology, discourse theory, social and political philosophy, and, most importantly, in the various articulations of Filipino philosophy.
